Vivo X300 Ultra India Launch Teased, Vivo X300 FE To Tag Along

Shortly after its global debut, Vivo is now teasing the Vivo X300 Ultra India launch. The new Ultra branded phone from Vivo is the best the company has to offer as of now. Moreover, the Vivo X300 FE will also launch in India alongside the X300 Ultra, as confirmed by the brand.

The teaser for the Vivo X300 Ultra India launch and the Vivo X300 FE are now up on Vivo India’s website. One can also notice the teleconverter kit for the Ultra which will also debut alongside it. The company hasn’t confirmed any details like the launch date or the price range of the devices. Leaks suggest the Vivo X300 Ultra India launch may take place on May 7.

The X300 Ultra starts at CNY 6,999 (approx Rs 95,400) in China so Indian pricing will highly likely be over a lakh rupees. The X300 FE may cost around Rs 60,000 but this is a speculative figure so take it with a grain of salt.

Vivo X300 Ultra: Specifications

The Vivo X300 Ultra features a 6.82-inch AMOLED Display with a 2K pixels (3168 x 1440) resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 510 ppi, Dolby Vision, P3 wide colour gamut, HDR 10+, and a 2160Hz PWM dimming. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC paired with UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5x Ultra and Ultra Pro (for 1TB model) RAM.

It gets a triple rear camera setup including an OIS-backed 1/1.12-inch 200MP Blueprint x Sony LYT-901 f/1.85 primary sensor, a 50MP Blueprint x Sony LYT-818 f/2.0 ultra-wide angle sensor with OIS, and a 200MP Blueprint x Samsung ISOCELL HP0 f/2.67 periscope telephoto lens which gets industry’s first large-sensor gimbal-level 3° OIS (CIPA 7.0) feature. They are complemented by the VS1+ imaging chip. It has a 50MP f/2.45 front-facing camera.

Vivo also announced two new teleconverters for the device’s telephoto sensor, including the 400mm 17.4x teleconverter, called the “Cannon 400”, and a new 200mm 8.7x teleconverter that’s called the “Lipstick 200”. There’s also a new photography kit, called the vivo Imaging Grip Kit.

In addition, it is backed by a 6600mAh battery paired with 90W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The device is IP68 + IP69 rated, has stereo speakers and gets an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The device runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, IR blaster and a USB Type-C port. It also supports two-way satellite communication only in the 1TB model.
