Realme C100i 4G has been announced in India with a 6500mAh battery and 15W fast charging. It comes with IP64 dust and water resistance, a 120Hz display, an 8MP rear camera, and runs on realme UI based on Android 16. Here are all the details of the handset.
Realme C100i: Price, Availability
The Realme C100i comes in a single 4GB + 64GB variant at Rs 14,999. The device is available in Midnight Black and Skyline Silver. It goes on sale today, August 27, at 12 PM IST, across mainline stores, Flipkart and realme.com. For online buyers, they can avail up to 3-month no-cost EMI and for mainline buyers, one can avail 7 month EMI with 1 month’s EMI discount, 8 month EMI with 2 months’ EMI discount, and 10 month EMI with 3 months’ EMI discount.
Realme C100i: Specifications
The Realme C100i features a 6.75-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution (720 x 1570 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 900 nits HBM brightness, and a waterdrop notch housing the front camera.
Under the hood, the device features an Unisoc T7250 Chipset and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB of UFS 2.2 built-in storage (expandable up to 2TB) and the phone runs on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 OS.
For optics, you get a single 8-megapixel f/2.0 primary sensor at the back and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. It is backed by an 6500mAh battery that supports 15W Fast charging via the USB-C port.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS. There’s also a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack, along with a side-facing fingerprint scanner, IP64-rated water and dust-resistant and MIL-STD 810H certified design, and a single bottom-firing speaker.
Realme C100i: Should You Buy It?
At Rs 14,999, the Realme C100i is competing with the new Boltt Ace 5G which starts at Rs 13,999 and is available with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In fact, for Rs 14,999, you get the 8GB + 128GB model which in itself is a good deal. You also get 5G support with it and a better camera sensor. However, it has a slightly smaller 6000mAh battery and is a new brand compared to Realme, so the trust factor could affect your purchase if you don’t want to take any risks with your purchase.
The Lava Virat V1 5G is another decent pick for Rs 12,999 where you not only pay Rs 2,000 less, but you also get 5G support and a better rear camera sensor on paper. However, you will compromise on the battery front and also the software if you prefer Realme’s much more polished and feature-rich Realme UI.
Similar is the case with Ai+ Neo 2 5G which also starts at Rs 14,999 but offers you a far better chipset, better cameras, and slightly faster charging.
There’s also the Redmi A7 Pro 5G, priced at Rs 14,499, which offers a larger display, 5G connectivity with a more capable chipset, similar cameras, and a 6,300mAh battery. This makes the battery capacity gap between it and Realme’s phone much smaller compared with the other competing options.
