Vivo Y31t 5G has been announced in India as a new lower mid-ranger with a Snapdragon processor under the hood. The device has dual rear cameras and gets a 7200mAh battery that’s keeping the lights on. Here’s everything else to know about the new Vivo handset in India.
Vivo Y31t 5G: Price, Availability
The vivo Y31t 5G is available in three colour variants – Crimson Red, Seashore Green and Golden Mist and is priced at:
- Rs 25,999 for 4 GB + 128 GB
- Rs 29,999 for 6 GB + 128 GB
- Rs 34,999 for 6 GB + 256 GB
The smartphone is now available for purchase through all Partner Retail Stores, the vivo India e-store and Flipkart.
Buyers can avail a flat Rs 1,500 instant bank discount with SBI Card, IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Cards, Axis Bank, YES BANK, HDFC BANK, BOBCARD, IndusInd Bank, and a few more select partners. This offer is valid August 31.
Vivo Y31t 5G: Specifications
The Vivo Y31t 5G sports a 6.75-inch LCD Display with an HD+ Resolution of 1608 x 720 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 264 ppi, and 1250 nits of HBM brightness. The Y31t 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Processor paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The device has a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP f/1.8 primary sensor with PDAF and a 2MP f/2.4 bokeh sensor. On the front, it gets an 8MP f/2.0 selfie sensor. The handset is backed by a 7200mAh battery with 44W fast wired charging support.
Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and a USB-C port. It further runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The device also packs stereo speakers, and also has IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Vivo Y31t 5G: Is It Worth Buying?
At Rs 25,999, the Vivo Y31t 5G excels in battery capacity alongside packing a decent chip with fast storage. If you are in the market looking for these, the Y31t 5G may appeal to you but it is not the best option in its price segment.
At Rs 25,999, you can also get the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G which gets a far better display, superior chip, more RAM and storage for the same starting price tag where the RAM is also faster, triple rear cameras, and a more feature rich software with longer support. It gets a 6000mAh battery with 45W charging so while the capacity is smaller, it will still charge faster so you can decide whether you want longer battery life or faster charging along with a better overall package.
At Rs 24,999, there’s Poco M8 Power 5G which again offers a better chip and display along with an even bigger 8000mAh battery, better cameras, and longer software support. However, at 45 watts, it will charge slower than Vivo’s phone so keep that in mind, but it is still a better phone in almost every aspect.
If you are spending Rs 34,999, consider the newly launched Realme P4s 5G which again gets you a far superior display, more RAM, better cameras, bigger 8000mAh battery, faster charging and a more powerful chipset. However, you’ll compromise on storage but we think that’s a tradeoff that is acceptable considering everything else you are getting with this device.
