A new Telegram update has introduced a bunch of new features for the texting app, including Guest AI Bots for any chat, the ability to send scheduled silent messages, custom AI styles for the text editor, and more. Here’s everything new the Telegram update has introduced.
With Guest AI Bots, Telegram now allows AI bots to be mentioned directly inside private chats and group conversations, even if the bot is not part of that chat. Users can tag a supported bot using its @username to ask questions, generate content, fact-check information, or perform other tasks. Once triggered, the bot replies directly inside the conversation.
Telegram says Guest Bots only have access to the specific tagged message and any replies connected to it. They cannot view the rest of the chat, see participants, or access unrelated messages.
The platform has also enabled bot-to-bot communication, allowing automated bots and AI agents to interact with each other directly. Telegram says this could help developers create more advanced automated workflows and autonomous AI systems.

Next, bots can now stream replies in real time instead of waiting to generate the full response before sending it, so this way conversations feel faster and more natural.
Telegram is also adding “Chat Automation” to user profiles. This feature lets users connect bots to their personal account so the bot can automatically respond to messages on their behalf. Users can choose which chats the bot can access, including options to exclude contacts or limit responses only to new conversations.
The app is also introducing Custom AI Styles in its text editor. Users can create personalised writing styles using prompts, making it easier for teams, creators, and communities to maintain a consistent tone or create themed responses. These styles can further also be shared through links.
On the search side, Telegram says users can now search through over 100 million stickers and Emoji using keywords in 36 languages. The feature uses AI models running on Telegram’s Cocoon Network to organise and identify public stickers more efficiently.
Telegram has also updated polls in groups and channels. Polls with more than 100 votes will now show interactive statistics graphs for admins, displaying how voting patterns changed over time. Channel admins can also restrict polls to subscribers or users from specific countries.
Other smaller additions include silent scheduled messages, which allow scheduled texts to be delivered without notifications, and improved moderation tools that let group admins remove reactions from specific users more easily.
