Sony rolls out Android 13 update for three smartphones

Sony has released the Android 13 stable update for three smartphones – Xperia 1 III, Xperia 5 III, and Xperia Pro-I.

The Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III were announced last April with Android 11 and picked up the Android 12 update earlier this year. The Xperia Pro-I, unveiled last October, also came with Android 11.

Sony hasn’t revealed what countries are getting the Android 13 update, but you can check for it manually on your smartphones in a week or two if you don’t get an update notification.
