Oppo unveils OHealth H1, MariSilicon Y, and Air Glass 2 at Inno Day 2022

Oppo kicked off its annual Inno Day with a special online presentation and unveiled three unique products – the OHealth H1 health monitor, the MariSilicon Y chip, and the Air Glass 2 AR glasses.

Starting with Oppo’s second custom-developed chip after the MariSilicon X dedicated imaging Neural Processing Unit. Тhe MariSilicon Y is not a successor, but rather a Bluetooth audio system on a chip.

MariSilicon Y is one of the first to use the advanced N6RF process technology, which allows for a 50% increase in Bluetooth bandwidth compared to current Bluetooth SoCs.

That translates to the ability to transmit 24-bit/192kHz lossless audio over Bluetooth, Oppo says that’s a first for the industry.

Next Oppo announced the OHealth brand and the first product under it – the OHealth H1 health monitor. It can monitor a family member’s blood oxygen, perform an ECG (electrocardiogram), heart and lung auscultation (what your doctor uses the stethoscope for), check heart rate, and body temperature, as well as track your sleep.

The lenses will support vision correction, while the frames will be further customizable.

Oppo’s Air Glass 2 will be able to make calls, conduct real-time translation, give location-based navigation, convert voice into text for people with hearing impairments, and more.
