Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 specifications have been leaked online days before the launch of the devices. The leak suggests that the Fold 8 series will have a Snapdragon Chipset but the Flip 8 will come with an Exynos one. Here’s everything to know about the foldables.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra: Specifications (Leaked)
The leak from WinFuture has revealed the detailed specifications of the Z Fold 8 series and the Flip 8. The Z Fold 8 Ultra will sport an 8.0-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X primary display with 2504 x 2256 pixels resolution and a 120Hz adaptive Refresh Rate that can go down till 1Hz. The display on the outside is a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It has 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 422 ppi, and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate same as the inner panel, going down till 1Hz.
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It gets a bigger 5000mAh battery and faster 45W charging speeds compared to the Fold 7.
For optics, it will get a 200-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle f/1.9 sensor with a 120-degree field-of-view (FoV) and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, 3X optical zoom, PDAF, and OIS. There will be two front cameras on the phone, and both of them will be 10-megapixel f/2.2 Sensors housed in a punch-hole cutout. The device is also IP48 rated.
It will come in “Graphite” (dark gray), “Cream” (white/cream) and “Violet Shadow” (dark violet) shades along with a Samsung online store exclusive “Green Shadow” (green).

The all-new wider foldable dubbed Galaxy Z Fold 8 will have a 7.6-inch foldable main display and a 5.5-inch cover display. These are Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with a resolution of 2448 x 1848 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio for the foldable panel. The cover display gets a 1972 x 1248 pixels resolution. Both displays will support variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It gets a bigger 4800mAh battery and 45W wired charging speed. Wireless charging is also supported. Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be), NFC, 5G and Bluetooth 6.0. It will also be IP48 rated.
For optics, there will be a 50-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor with OIS and a 50-megapixel f/1.9 ultra-wide angle sensor on the back. A couple of 10-megapixel f/2.2 sensors will be included in a punch-hole cutout in the foldable and cover displays for selfies.
It will come in called “Graphite” (gray), “Cream” (white/cream) and “Lavender” (lavender) shades along with a Samsung store exclusive “Pistachio” (light green) variant.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8: Specifications (Leaked)
The Galaxy Z Flip 8, per the leak, sports a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Resolution of 1048 x 948 pixels. The cover panel and the back panel are both protected with the Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Furthermore, it features a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable main display. This one has a 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio and an adaptive Refresh Rate ranging from 1Hz up till 120Hz.
This phone is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2600 processor. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 comes with a dual-camera setup on the back. It includes a 50-megapixel f/1.8 sensor with OIS and a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens. On the inside, it gets a 10-megapixel f/2.2 front-facing sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 packs a 4300mAh battery. It will, however, charge at faster 45W speeds with a wired charger this year, and will support fast wireless charging 2.0 along with reverse wireless charging as well.
Connectivity options will likely include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v6.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, along with stereo speakers for audio. The device is IP48 rated also.
