Samsung Galaxy A08 and Galaxy A18 have been launched internationally. The Galaxy A08 has been launched in regions like Ukraine while the Galaxy A18 is now available for purchase in France. Both are 4G phones, and have MediaTek and Exynos processors. Here are all their details.
Samsung Galaxy A08: Price, Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A08 is retailing for UAH 10,699 (approx Rs 23,600) for the single 4GB + 128GB version. It comes in Dark Blue, Green, and Silver shades.
The Galaxy A08 has a 6.7-inch PLS LCD panel with an Infinity-U notch, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 Processor which is paired with 4GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s support for microSD card storage expansion up to 2TB also.
It packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. For optics, the Galaxy A08 has a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 Aperture and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro sensor. There’s an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front facing shooter.
It includes connectivity features such as Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm Headphone jack. It gets a side-facing fingerprint sensor and a single speaker. The device runs on Android 17-based One UI 9.0 and will get six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
The only difference over the Galaxy A07 seems to be a bigger battery inside the Galaxy A08.
Samsung Galaxy A18: Price, Specifications
The Galaxy A18 comes in Black, Grey and Light Blue, and is retailing for EUR 279 (approx Rs 30,700) in France for the 4GB + 12GB version.
The Galaxy A18 4G has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) Super AMOLED Display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Exynos 1610 SoC powers the phone. It comes with a built-in storage of 128GB, which can be expanded to 2TB with a microSD card. There’s support for 4GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The phone comes with One UI 9.0 pre-loaded, which is based on Android 17. The device is set to receive 6 major Android OS updates along with 6 years of security patches as well.
The triple camera setup on the back comprises of a 50-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor with 10x magnification, a 5-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 camera with a macro sensor. The front camera has a 13-megapixel f/2.0 sensor.
The Galaxy A18 includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging. It further gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options on the device includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.3, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port for charging. The handset is also IP64 rated as well.
