Redmi has announced the launch of Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G in India. The new devices combine Double Five-Star Quality Certifications from SGS and TÜV, Corning Gorilla Victus 2 protection and IP66 / IP68 / IP69 / IP69K ratings as well.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G will be available starting September 17, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G will go on sale from September 23. Both models will be sold through mi.com, Amazon.in and Xiaomi Retail.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G starts at Rs 36,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 39,999. It comes in Purple Vibe, Cloud Blue, and Stealth Black. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, meanwhile, starts at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration, while the 12GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 55,999. It comes in Secret Sunrise, Matcha Green, and Stealth Black.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can get an instant bank discount of up to Rs 5,000 on eligible transactions using SBI Card, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank or IDFC FIRST Bank. Alternatively, eligible HDB Financial Services affordability options offer 10% cashback of up to Rs 5,000.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K Resolution AMOLED Display with a Refresh Rate of 120Hz, Dolby Vision, 12-bit colours, 3500 nits peak brightness, 447 ppi, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and HDR10+ support. It is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The device is equipped with Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC under the hood, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It comes with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage while the 128GB model has UFS 2.2 storage.
