Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter edition has been launched in India. The new edition shares its specifications with the normal version but has an all-new Harry Potter-inspired design on the back. Realme says the phone comes with world’s first Quadra Light-Sensing Colour-changing technology.

The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter edition costs Rs 62,999 for the single 12GB + 256GB model. It will go on sale starting tomorrow, September 22, via Flipkart and Realme’s website. One can avail an instant discount of Rs 6,300 on using HDFC, ICICI, and SBI banks’ cards.
Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition: What You Get With The New Edition
The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter edition takes inspiration from the four Hogwarts houses, Hedwig and other elements from the Harry Potter universe.
One of the standout design features is the Hogwarts Four-House Crest on the rear panel. Realme says the crest uses its Quadra Light-Sensing colour-changing technology, allowing it to transform under UV light and reveal the colours of all four Hogwarts houses simultaneously.
The camera module gets a Hedwig-inspired design, with the camera deco made from aluminium alloy. Realme has also used a 3D diamond-pattern leather finish on the rear panel, inspired by the wizard chessboard from the Harry Potter series.
The mid-frame features laser-engraved “Welcome To Hogwarts” detailing, along with hidden Hogwarts-inspired elements that users can discover as they explore the phone.
Realme has also created a dedicated Harry Potter-themed software experience for the 16 Pro 5G. The phone comes with a Hogwarts Castle wallpaper featuring a Golden Dawn scene during the day and a Mystic Dusk view at night.
The customisation extends to the phone’s boot and fingerprint animations. The Harry Potter-inspired boot animation brings Hogwarts-themed visuals to the screen when the device starts up, while the fingerprint animation shows Hogwarts acceptance letters appearing when the phone is unlocked. The smartphone also features Hogwarts-style native App icons and watermarks for photos.
The Harry Potter Edition comes with a limited-edition gifting box designed around the Hogwarts acceptance experience. It includes a Hogwarts acceptance letter, a customised set of postcards featuring the main Harry Potter characters, Hogwarts Four Houses bookmarks and Hogwarts house crest pins.
Realme has also included a Harry Potter Edition of its Buds T500 Pro as a hidden surprise in the gifting package, adding another Harry Potter-themed accessory to the bundle.

The Realme 16 Pro 5G gets a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED Display with 1.5K Resolution and offers 10-bit colour depth, 100% P3 colour gamut coverage, 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1400 nits HBM brightness and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max Processor powers it, coupled with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The handset packs a 7000mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging. The Realme 16 Pro 5G has a 200MP Samsung HP5 f/1.8 primary sensor with OIS paired with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor. There’s a 50MP f/2.4 sensor on the front for selfies.
The smartphone runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, GPS, IR blaster, USB-C port, and Bluetooth v5.4. The Realme 16 Pro 5G is also IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rated and has stereo speakers.
