Amazon has announced that the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 sale will begin on October 8 in India. The annual festive sale will bring deals across categories including smartphones, electronics, fashion, beauty, home essentials, appliances and groceries.
Customers using SBI Credit and Debit Cards can get a 10% instant discount, including on eligible EMI transactions. Prime members will also have access to additional offers of up to 10%.
Amazon says the sale will feature some of its lowest prices of the year across crores of products, along with Blockbuster Deals, Top 100 Deals, Mega Deals and 8 PM Deals. Other offers will include Buy More Save More, Exchange Mela, Sample Mania and Amazon Combos. Customers can also use No Cost EMI and exchange offers across various categories.
The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 will also feature new product launches from major brands, covering smartphones, electronics, TVs, fashion and beauty products, kitchen and outdoor products, home décor, appliances and everyday essentials.
Prime members will also get access to a festive lineup of content on Prime Video, including Originals across different genres and languages.

Amazon is also expanding its operations network ahead of the festive season. The company says it has created more than 160,000 seasonal work opportunities across its operations network in India, covering 400 cities, including tier 2 and tier 3 locations.
The company has also added 20 new fulfilment centres, six new sort centres and 150 new last-mile delivery stations as part of what it describes as its biggest-ever operations network expansion. Amazon India’s seller base has crossed 20 lakh, with more than 3 lakh sellers joining the platform over the past year.
Amazon says its delivery network can now deliver tens of thousands of products within minutes or a few hours, more than one million products on the same day and over four million products the next day, in addition to millions of products eligible for free Prime Delivery.
For faster deliveries, Amazon Now is available to millions of customers across more than 60 cities. The service offers deliveries within minutes and is also available in several non-metro cities, including Jalandhar, Tirupati, Warangal, Dharwad, Vellore and Berhampur. Amazon says Amazon Now will expand to 100 cities before Diwali.
Customers can check whether Amazon Now is available in their area by opening the Amazon shopping App and looking for the “Now” banner at the top.
