OPPO K14 Lite has been announced in India with a 7000mAh battery and gets a “distinctive design built around OPPO’s Horizontal Deco, R-Corner and Feather Textured Finish” that “adds a subtle, tactile dimension to the device, creating a distinctive look while offering a comfortable and secure feel in hand for everyday use,” as per the brand.
OPPO K14 Lite: Price, Availability
Starting at Rs 16,999 for the 4 GB + 64 GB variant, the OPPO K14 Lite will be available for purchase starting today, September 16, on the OPPO e-store and Flipkart, in two colour options- Stone Brown and Feather Purple. Customers purchasing the smartphone can avail Rs 1,000 instant discount on the respective variant with select bank offers, bringing the effective price to Rs 15,999, along with an additional 3-month No Cost EMI option.
OPPO K14 Lite: Specifications
OPPO K14 Lite sports a 6.75-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution 1570 x 720 pixels, 256 ppi, 240Hz touch sampling rate, a Refresh Rate of 120Hz, and 900 nits peak brightness.
Then, it gets a single 13MP f/2.2 primary camera sensor on the back. There’s a 5MP f/2.2 sensor on the front for selfies. It packs a 7000mAh battery with support for 15W Fast charging and reverse wired charging support also. The handset also offers an IP64 rating.
The OPPO device is powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC under the hood, paired with up to 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage which is also expandable.
It further gets a USB-C port for charging and support for USB 2.0 data transfer, along with a single speaker. It runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include the usual, such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 5, and GPS.
OPPO K14 Lite: Should You Buy It?
At Rs 16,999, we think the K14 Lite is priced slightly on the higher side compared to competitors. If you are ready to take a bet on a newer brand, then the Boltt Ace 5G is available for Rs 14,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model. It gets you a better chip, better cameras, but has an inferior 6000mAh battery.
Similar is the case with Lava’s Virat V1 Pro 5G. Further, if you can spend up to Rs 17,999, you can get the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G which is Rs 1,000 more than K14 Lite. For that price, you get more RAM, double the storage, better cameras, sharper display, a much superior Chipset and faster charging. The only tradeoff? Battery. Despite that, we think it’s a much more value for money package compared to OPPO’s phone.
