The Nokia 2.2 is the latest device to get the Android 11, the 2019 entry-level phone now entering its first wave of updates.
That wave includes the following 24 countries: Cambodia, Czech Republic (T-Mobile Czech Republic), Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece (Cosmote), Hungary (Magyar Telekom), Iceland, Indonesia, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia (Monet, T-Mobile), Malaysia, Montenegro (Crnogorski Telekom), Myanmar, Norway, Philippines, Poland (T-Mobile Polska/Heyah), Romania (Telekom Romania), Slovakia (Slovak Telekom), Sweden, Thailand, and Vietnam. More countries will follow in a second and third waves later on, so if your market isn’t listed, stay tuned.
The firmware weighs in at 1.2GB and brings the March security patch.
Nokia has been busy seeding Android 11 to its lineup lately. The Nokia 3.2 got the update in March, followed by the Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.3, and lastly the Nokia 4.2 in April.
