Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G has been launched in India ahead of the launch of the Virat Curve next week. The new Bold N4 Pro 5G packs a 6000mAh battery under the hood along with a Unisoc chipset. The device has dual rear cameras, Fast charging support, and more. Here’s everything to know about it.
Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G: Price, Availability
The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G is available for a special launch price of Rs 13,999 in India for the sole 6GB + 128GB variant. This price includes all the offers. The handset will go on sale via Amazon from September 26 at 12 PM IST. It will be available in Monaco Blue and Opulent Lilac colours.
Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G: Specifications
The Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G sports a 6.75-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 260 ppi, and a waterdrop notch housing the front camera. Under the hood, the device features the Unisoc T8200 chipset and 6GB of RAM with up to 6GB of virtual RAM. There’s 128GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 1TB and the phone runs on Android 16 OS. It will get 1 Android OS update and 2 years of security updates.
For optics, you get a 50-megapixel main camera on the back paired with an auxiliary lens. You also get a 5MP selfie shooter. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via the USB-C port.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. There’s also a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a single bottom firing speaker. The device is also IP64 rated for dust and water resistance.
Lava Bold N4 Pro 5G: Should You Buy It?
The Bold N4 Pro 5G is essentially a rebranded Virat V1 Pro 5G if we go by their looks and specifications. The Virat V1 Pro 5G launched for Rs 15,999 and gets the same specifications, which means if you are planning to buy this phone, then it may be the right time before the special launch offer is revoked.
However, at this price, you can get the Tecno POP X 5G, which packs a better chipset and a bigger battery. However, you’ll have to compromise on the RAM and rear camera sensor compared to Lava’s handset, which could be a deal breaker for many.
The same is the case with the Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G and the Redmi 15A 5G. However, based on our experience with these brands, these two devices may also offer a better software experience.
If you’re unwilling to compromise on the areas mentioned above, the as we said in Virat V1 Pro 5G’s case, the Bold N4 Pro 5G is also a decent pick for what it offers.
