EA launches Skate console play test this fall

EA has been working on Skate for a while, but console players will soon get a chance to ride around San Vansterdam. This fall, console players will be able to explore the city and land flashy tricks.

In addition to showing off some pre-pre-alpha footage, EA got creative at Summer Games Fest to set the tone for their announcement. The publisher highlighted the villainous M-Corp to spark players’ rule-breaking instincts. The live action sketch comedy short features SNL alum Tim Robinson as Richie Dandle and establishes the world and characters of Skate.

Players interested in EA’s closed play test for Skate can sign up today for their chance to join.
