Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo have been launched in India as the brand’s first set of smartphones. Both the Ace 5G and the Evo have a Unisoc Processor under the hood and are available in multiple colour options. Here’s everything to know about the two new phones.
Boltt Ace 5G: Price, Availability, Specifications
The Boltt Ace 5G is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model, Rs 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and Rs 15,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. It comes in Arctic White, Burgundy Bliss, Forest Green, Lavender Bloom, Midnight Black, and Sky Blue shades. The devices goes on sale via Flipkart on September 1 at 12 PM IST and those purchasing on day 1 will get a Rs 1,000 discount on all variants.
The Boltt Ace 5G sports a 6.79-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution (720 x 1640 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 263 ppi, 600 nits brightness, and a punch-hole notch housing the front camera.
Under the hood, the device features the Unisoc T8200 Chipset and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There’s up to 128GB of built-in UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 1TB and the phone runs on Android 16 OS. It will get 2 years of security updates.
For optics, you get dual rear cameras including a 64-megapixel f/1.8 main camera and an unspecified sensor, along with an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via the USB-C port.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS. There’s also a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a single bottom firing speaker.
Boltt Evo: Price, Availability, Specifications
The Boltt Evo is available in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB trims, priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. It comes in Arctic White, Berry Red, Lavender Bloom, Midnight Black, and Sky Blue shades. The devices goes on sale via Flipkart on September 1 at 12 PM IST and those purchasing on day 1 will get a Rs 1,000 discount on both variants.

Boltt Ace 5G, Boltt Evo: Should You Buy Them?
For a starting price of Rs 13,999, the Ace 5G is actually a direct competitor to the Lava Virat V1 5G which is available for Rs 12,999. While both phones have similar specifications in terms of chipset, battery, and display, they differ when it comes to the camera and Boltt’s Ace 5G does seem to offer a superior setup compared to Lava’s device but for a premium of Rs 1,000.
With what’s on offer, we think the Ace 5G could be a decent offering if things like timely updates and customer support are sorted. However, these are too early to comment on.
As for the Boltt Evo, there are other 4G options available like the Virat V1 at Rs 9,999 but for only Rs 1,000 more for the base model, the Evo gets a superior chip, bigger battery, better cameras, and the latest Android version.
Compared to the Itel Zeno 200 (starting at Rs 9,999), the Boltt Evo does seem to lack storage and an IP rating. However, Boltt’s device has a bigger battery, better cameras, and the latest Android version.
