Xiaomi confirms arrival of Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra at March 29 event

Xiaomi officially scheduled a “Mega Launch” yesterday, without revealing what it’s going to be about. Today the company lifted the curtain on Weibo, and hardly surprisingly we’ll see the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra at it.

The poster does not say anything about a Mi 11 Lite, simply because the Lite series sells under a different name in China, and this particular phone might be launched later for the domestic scene.

In the Weibo post, Xiaomi said the two new phones will be challengers for the “Best Android smartphone” title and will be the perfect devices for “all the thousands of fans who want an ultimate experience”.

In reality, this means both phones will likely have the 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GN2 sensor with multi-directional autofocus, and we also expect them to have a tiny display on the back for the best selfies and TikTok dance videos.

The event next Monday is scheduled for 19:30 Chinese time, which is 11:30 UTC.
