Unlocked LG V35 ThinQ receiving Android Pie update in the US

AT&T’s LG V35 ThinQ received the Android Pie update back in June, and after more than a month, the unlocked units are also being updated with Pie.

Additionally, the update is also seeding for the Google Fi, Amazon, and AIO units of the V35 ThinQ.

The new firmware, sporting version number V350ULM20D, comes with the June 2019 security patch in addition to the usual Android Pie niceties and features like Cine shot, Part Slo-mo, and Dual App.

The update is rolling out over the air and should hit your unit soon, but if you can’t wait for the notification, you can try pulling it manually by heading over to your phone’s Settings > System updates menu. Alternatively, you can try installing the update via the LG Bridge software.
