This $3,300 Chair Lets You Edit Photos While Looking Like a Supervillain

If you’ve always dreamed of editing your photos while looking like a supervillain, look no further than the Cluvens Scorpion Computer Cockpit. It’s a $3,300 chair that looks and moves like a scorpion.

Sitting above eight creature-like legs, the Scorpion features an extending tail that serves as overhead support for your displays. You can use a single 49-inch monitor or three 29-inch screens, and there are built-in HDMI/DP cables to help you quickly set things up. The distance and angle of the tail can be adjusted using the chair’s controller.

The structure of the chair is built from 3/16-inch high-carbon steel, and nearly the entire body is motorized as well, allowing it to transform into various poses to suit your needs.

If you’re tired of sitting and would like to work lying down for a while, simply press a button, and voila! There’s a 128° “zero gravity” position as well as a 170° “flat” position.

One of the Scorpion’s two “claws” (the soft armrests) holds the transparent keyboard and mouse stand while the other one features a slot for the cockpit’s remote control.

Oh, and the Scorpion even has built-in massage and heating features to help you relax as you work (or play).

Here’s a short video showing the Scorpion in action:

The Cluvens Scorpion Computer Cockpit is available through the Cluvens website for $3,300 and has an estimated shipping time of 3 to 6 weeks. Installation time is estimated at 1 to 2 hours with two people.
