Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G India launch is scheduled for July 17 and the brand has officially confirmed some of the details of the device as well as the colour options it will be available in. The Camon 50 Ultra 5G debuted globally back in March this year and here’s everything you can expect from it when it arrives in India.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G India Launch: Details
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G India launch will take place on July 17 at 12PM IST and will be available exclusively via Amazon India for purchase. It will be available in three shades and globally, these are called Cypress Green, Nebula Titanium, and Misty Purple.
The company confirmed some of the device’s key specifications as well, including a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary camera on the back, accompanied by a 50MP 3x telephoto sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor that will double as a macro lens. There will be a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz Pro XDR curved AMOLED display on the front and it will be backed by a 6500mAh with 45W fast wired charging.
These specifications match that of the global variant’s, suggesting there won’t be any differences between the device’s global and Indian counterparts. Going by these specs, we expect the device to be priced over Rs 35,000 but that is our speculation. Official price is yet to be shared by the brand.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G: Specifications
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED Display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10 support, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a 1.5K 2644 x 1204 pixels resolution. The back is protected with Gorilla Glass 7i while the front has Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 4nm processor, paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It supports dual nano SIM cards and runs on Android 16 with HiOS 16.
On the camera front, the device includes an OIS-backed 50MP f/1.8 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 50MP f/2.4 3x telephoto lens. For selfies, there is a 50MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
It carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810 military-grade durability certification. The phone includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. For audio, you get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Connectivity options include 5G SA and NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB-C port. The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
