Samyang releases RF mount versions of its VDSLR MK II cine lens lineup

Samyang, also known as Rokinon and Bower depending on your region and retailer, has announced its VDSLR MK2 cine lens series is now available for Canon RF mount camera systems.

The VDSLR MK2 series was first released back in the middle of 2020 and offers manual cine lenses: a 14mm T3.1, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5 and 85mm T1.5. In addition to being sold individually, the lenses are also offered in three-lens and five-lens kits.

Aside from slightly different dimensions to account for the decrease flange distance on the EOS RF mount, the lenses are identical to their Canon EF, Canon M, Fuji X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon F and Sony E mount counterparts.

The Samyang VDSLR MK2 retail for between $649 and $899. You can find a local retailer using Samyang’s online tool.
