Samsung officially confirms Galaxy Unpacked event on February 9

Samsung already revealed its new flagships are coming next month, and just yesterday a leak suggested the date is February 9. Today, the Korean company officially confirmed that date.

Samsung says we should expect “the most noteworthy S series ever created”, which is a nod towards the S Pen slot that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will gain.

The event will be livestreamed so all fans can witness the new stuff being unveiled in real time.

The company also posted a video on its YouTube page, asking to “break through the night” and “break the rules of light”, teasing the improved low-light photography capabitilities of the new Galaxy S smartphones.

There’s no word on whether any other devices are in line, but we also expect to see the Galaxy Tab S8 series on stage. A recent leak revealed the lineup will include three devices – a regular Tab S8, a larger Tab S8+, and an even bigger and more powerful Tab S8 Ultra.
