Samsung Galaxy Fold arrives in India, pre-orders begin October 4

The redesigned Samsung Galaxy Fold has arrived in India. It’s priced at a whopping INR164,999 ($2,320/€2,130) and can be pre-ordered starting October 4, with deliveries beginning from October 20. This will be a strong challenger to the recently launched Apple flagships, the Apple iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.

You can pre-order the Galaxy Fold through the company’s official site, Samsung Shop, and Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru. It will also be available through select retail outlets in 35 cities across the country.

For INR164,999, Samsung is offering 24×7 technical support to Galaxy Fold customers along with a one-year Infinity Flex Display Protection which includes accidental damage protection and one-time free screen replacement. Besides, the Galaxy Fold will come bundled with an Aramid Fiber case and Galaxy Buds.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold boasts two AMOLED screens – a 7.3″ foldable display and a 4.6″ cover display.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Fold has a Snapdragon 855 SoC with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It comes in Cosmos Black color, packs a 4,380 mAh battery, and sports a total of six cameras.
