POCO X8 Series: Should You Buy It?

POCO X8 series, at first glance, looks like an appealing set of phones that have a decent set of specifications. The displays and the batteries in both phones are top notch for this price segment and are actually unbeatable. The camera Sensors are on par with what the competition is offering and there’s nothing extraordinary in that area.

However, if we were to consider the competition, there’s the Realme P4s 5G which offers a similar quality of display, same type of cameras as the POCO X8 Power, and is Rs 1,000 cheaper for the same 8GB/128GB variant as the POCO X8 Power. But you will compromise with the battery, charging speeds, and also slower RAM.

For Rs 1,000 more than the top model of X8 Power, you get the Motorola EDGE 70 Pro at Rs 39,999. It gets you a better chipset, curved display if you prefer it over flat one, and a better ultra-wide angle camera. But again, the tradeoff will be the battery and charging speeds.

For their price, the new POCO X8 series does dominate in the segment in most areas and can easily be considered by those who want a smartphone that runs smooth in day-to-day use and lasts more than a day.
