Pixel 11 Series Key Specifications Leaked: Battery Downgraded, Cameras Upgraded

Google Pixel 11 series key specifications have been revealed in a new leak, suggesting the devices will get new hardware updates in terms of cameras, a new chipset, and a fresh Pixel Glow LED on the back. However, it seems like Google is planning a downgrade across the series, and that could be for the battery capacity.

As per a new leak by Mystic Leaks on Telegram, the Tensor G6 processor inside the Pixel 11 series will also get a few upgrades. The chip is said to feature a 1+4+2 CPU configuration based on newer ARM C1 cores, paired with a PowerVR C-Series GPU. It will also include an updated Titan M3 security chip and a MediaTek M90 modem, marking a notable shift away from the Samsung Exynos modems Google has relied on in previous generations. The Chipset is further expected to bring upgrades to Google’s TPU and its custom image signal processor.

Speaking of cameras, the Pixel 11 lineup may see some hardware changes this year. The standard Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are expected to use a new 50-megapixel main sensor, while the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL could get new Sensors for both the main and telephoto cameras. While detailed specs are still unclear, this suggests Google is making more significant changes to camera hardware this year.

On the hardware front, the Pixel 11 is tipped to sport a 6.3-inch display with a 1080×2424 resolution, a 60-120Hz refresh rate, and up to 2200 nits of brightness, along with a 4,840mAh battery and 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to retain a similar screen size but with a higher Resolution and brightness, paired with a 4,707mAh battery and up to 16GB RAM. The Pixel 11 Pro XL could offer a larger 6.8-inch display, a 5,000mAh battery, and similar RAM options.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also part of the lineup, with an inner OLED display supporting a 1-120Hz Refresh Rate and an outer display with up to 120Hz support. It is expected to pack a 4,658mAh battery and up to 16GB RAM.

One notable change is the presence of lower RAM variants across the lineup, which stands out since Google moved to 16GB RAM on its Pro models in the previous generation. This could be due to the RAM shortage crisis affecting smartphone makers worldwide.

Other changes mentioned in the leak include the removal of the built-in temperature sensor from Pro models. In its place, Google may introduce a new “Pixel Glow” lighting feature on the camera bar which has been leaked before. It could work similar to how Nothing, Tecno, and other brands have implemented LEDs on the back their devices. Additionally, advanced face unlock hardware previously linked to “Project Toscana” is reportedly not making its debut with the Pixel 11 series because “it’s simply not ready” yet.
