OPPO-Instagram Partnership: Near-Lossless Instagram Uploads with Find X Series, LUMO Creator Program, and More

OPPO and Instagram have announced a partnership which enables features like near-lossless Instagram uploads with Find X series phones, a new OPPO LUMO Creator Program for growing creators, monthly themed challenges, and more. Here’s everything to know about the partnership in India.

OPPO has partnered with Instagram to launch the LUMO Creator Program in India, a new initiative aimed at helping creators improve content quality, grow their audiences, and unlock new opportunities across the platform.

The program combines OPPO’s imaging expertise, powered by its LUMO Image Engine, with Instagram’s content discovery ecosystem. The company says the initiative is designed to support India’s rapidly growing creator economy, with a particular focus on emerging micro and nano creators who rely on smartphones as their primary content creation tool.

As part of the collaboration, OPPO is also introducing near-lossless Instagram uploads with Find X series smartphones. The feature is designed to preserve the original quality of videos from capture to upload, ensuring that details, colours, and dynamic range remain intact when content is shared on Instagram.

According to OPPO, the partnership aims to give creators access to better storytelling tools while further also helping them reach wider audiences through Instagram’s discovery platform. The company believes this will encourage more creators to produce high-quality content directly from their smartphones without worrying about quality degradation after uploading.

At the heart of the initiative is the OPPO LUMO Creator Program, an always-on platform that will host monthly content challenges inspired by youth culture, everyday experiences, and stories from across India. The challenges will focus on Instagram-first storytelling formats, with selected entries receiving additional visibility across OPPO India’s and Instagram’s channels.

Beyond content contests, the program will also offer creators access to mentorship opportunities, masterclasses, creator workshops, and also on-ground experiences designed to help them develop their skills and grow their presence online. Winners will additionally receive Meta × OPPO certification as part of the initiative.

Starting May 29, 2026, creators can participate in the monthly challenges by submitting content on Instagram along with using the designated campaign hashtags. Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, cultural relevance, and also overall engagement.

The program will reward creators across Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories, with prizes including cash rewards, the latest OPPO smartphones, and also IoT products. OPPO also revealed that select top-performing entries will be showcased globally, which will basically give Indian creators an opportunity to gain international exposure.
