One UI 4 beta with Android 12 expands to the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra

Yesterday Samsung decided to expand the One UI 4 beta program to the Galaxy S20 family, starting with those devices purchased unlocked in the US. And today the company is spreading the Android 12 love even further, making the One UI 4 beta program available for the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra.

This time around it all starts in the UK, where owners of either the Note20 or the Note20 Ultra can join the beta program to test out the upcoming version of Samsung’s software, which is based on Google’s newest iteration of Android, released last month for Pixels.

If you are in the UK, have a Note20 or Note20 Ultra, and want to get in on that One UI 4 action, you need to use the Samsung Members app to enroll your device in the beta. Note, however, that there may be bugs aplenty headed your way, as this is not final software. As such, it would probably be a good idea not to try this on your main device – just in case something goes horribly wrong.

Hopefully the beta will make it to Note20 and Note20 Ultra units in other countries soon, and it won’t be long until the stable, final update reaches all the units out there in the wild. But in all fairness, it’s probably going to be at least a few more weeks until we’re there.
