The Motorola Razr Fold launched in India today, May 13, following its announcement for global markets back in March. In India, the company has also announced the FIFA World Cup 26 edition of the Razr Fold which comes with exclusive wallpapers, the official tournament jingle which can be set as your ringtone, and a smart camera watermark. Here’s everything else to know about the device.
Motorola Razr Fold: Price, Availability
The Razr Fold costs Rs 1,49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB trim and Rs 1,59,999 for the 16GB + 512GB version. The FIFA World Cup 26 edition is available only in the 16GB + 512GB model and costs Rs 1,69,999. Apart from the FIFA World Cup 26 edition, the foldable phone is available in Pantone shades of Blackened Blue and Lily White.
One can currently pre-order the device from Flipkart, motorola’s website and other leading retail stores across India, including Reliance digital. It will go on sale starting May 20, 2026, at 12PM IST.
As for offers, one can avail an instant bank discount of Rs 10,000 on ICICI and SBI Credit cards and up to 18-month no-cost EMI. Also, those who purchase the device within the first month of sale, till June 20, can avail a free one-time screen replacement worth Rs 57,000 within one year.
Motorola Razr Fold: Specifications
The Motorola Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch 21:9 pOLED LTPO outer cover display with 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution, up to 165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colours, and 6000 nits peak brightness. It is protected with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. The inner folding OLED display is 8.1-inch in size. This pOLED LTPO display supports 6200 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, 2484 x 2232 pixels resolution, and 10-bit colours.
The device draws power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Android 16 and will receive 7 years of software updates and security patches.
It sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP f/1.6 Sony LYTIA 828 primary sensor, a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide angle camera, and a 50MP f/2.4 Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and Dolby Vision recording. For selfies, it gets a 32MP f/2.4 camera on the inner display and a 20MP f/2.4 camera on the cover display.
Connectivity options on the device include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port. The foldable is backed by a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 80W TurboPower fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging. Additional features include side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The device is IP48 plus IP49 rated, has 3 mics, and also an AI key.
