Motorola Razr 70, Razr 70 Plus, Razr 70 Ultra Foldables Launched, Moto G87 Tags Along

Motorola Razr 70, Razr 70 Plus, and Razr 70 Ultra flip foldable phones have been announced by the Lenovo-owned company. The new foldables will debut as Razr, Razr+, and Razr Ultra in the North American market. All three devices will get 3 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches. Motorola also announced the new Moto G87 along with the new foldables.

The Razr 70 (Razr 2026) starts at $799.99 (approx Rs 76,200) in the US and comes in Pantone Hematite, Pantone Bright White, Pantone Sporting Green, and Pantone Violet Ice colours.

The Razr 70 sports a 6.9-inch (2640×1080 pixels) FlexView FHD+ LTPO AMOLED Display which supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, 120% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 3000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. At the front, it gets a 3.6-inch (1066 x 1056 pixels resolution) QuickView LTPS AMOLED cover display which gets 90Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1700 nits peak brightness, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on Hello UI based on Android 16. For optics, there’s a 50MP f/1.7 primary camera with OIS and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide angle camera. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

There’s a 32MP f/2.4 front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C port, and NFC. It is further equipped with stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos. The device is also IP48 rated and is backed up by a 4800mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging support.

The Motorola Razr 70 Plus (Razr+ 2026) starts at $1,099.99 (approx Rs 1,04,800) in the US and comes in Pantone Mountain View colour.

The Razr 70 Plus sports a 6.9-inch (2640×1084 pixels) FHD+ LTPO AMOLED Display which supports up to 165Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, 120% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 3000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. At the front, it gets a 4.0-inch (1080 x 1272 pixels resolution) LTPS Extreme AMOLED cover display which gets 165H refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 2400 nits peak brightness, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The device also runs on Hello UI based on Android 16. For optics, there’s a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera with OIS and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide angle camera. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra (Razr Ultra 2026) will cost $1,499.99 (approx Rs 1,42,900) in the US and is available in Pantone Orient Blue and Pantone Cocoa.

The Razr 70 Ultra sports a 7-inch (2992×1224 pixels) FHD+ LTPO AMOLED Display which supports up to 165Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, 120% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 5000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. At the front, it gets a 4.0-inch (1080 x 1272 pixels resolution) LTPS Extreme AMOLED cover display which gets 165H refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 3000 nits peak brightness, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection.

The foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The device also runs on Hello UI based on Android 16. For optics, there’s a 50MP f/1.8 LOFIC primary camera with OIS and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide angle camera. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Moto G87 5G: Specifications

The Moto G87 5G will be available across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America in the coming weeks, in Pantone Blue Atoll and Pantone Overture shades. Pricing is yet to be revealed.

The Moto G87 5G sports a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED 1.5K display with a 1272 x 2772 PixelResolution and a 450 ppi. It has a punch-hole cutout at the centre. In addition, the display has a 120Hz Refresh Rate, 5000 nits peak brightness, 10-bit colours, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

The handset packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Chipset under the hood. The phone runs on Android 16 on the software side. You get up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage which is further expandable up to 2TB as well.

There is a dual camera setup on the back which includes a 200MP primary camera with f/1.8 Aperture and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor with Macro vision support. There’s also an ambient light sensor at the back. On the front, this Motorola device has a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

A 5200mAh battery with 30W Fast charging support backs the phone. The phone has connectivity features like 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/GLONASS/QZSS/Galileo, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

It gets stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. The device is IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rated, along with Military-grade durability backed by MIL-STD 810H certification.
