Motorola has announced the launch of three new products at IFA 2026, including the new Motorol EDGE 70 Plus, a Moto Watch Ultra running on Wear OS, and a Qi2.2 supported Moto Snap wireless charger that can provide up to 25W of charging speed to supported phones.
Motorola Edge 70 Plus: Price, Specifications
The Motorola Edge 70 Plus is priced at EUR 599 (approx Rs 65,900) and will roll out in select countries in Europe and the Middle East over the coming weeks. The company also announced that it will come as Edge 70 Neo in India and will roll out over the coming months. It comes in PANTONE Mountain View (Deep Green), PANTONE Gray Lilac (Lilac), PANTONE Milky Blue (Blue) and PANTONE Sage shades.
The Edge 70 Plus 5G packs a 6.78″ AMOLED Display with a 144hz refresh rate, 5200 nits peak brightness, 10-bit colours, HDR 10+ support, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, 450 ppi, and 2772 x 1272 pixels resolution. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage that is expandable.
There is a dual rear camera setup, including an OIS-assisted 200MP f/1.8 primary sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. At the front, it gets a 32MP f/2.2 sensor with auto-focus support. The device is offered with a 6500mAh battery with 45W Fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
It also has Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. The handset is IP64 rated and has the MIL-STD-810H certification. The handset runs on Android 16-based Hello UI. Connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth v6.0, Wi-Fi 6E, Dual-SIM 5G, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port for charging.
Moto Watch Ultra: Price, Specifications
The Moto Watch Ultra, starting at MSRP of EUR 429 (approx Rs 47,100) will roll out to select countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific in the coming weeks.
For the watch, Motorola says it is continuing its partnership with Polar, bringing the company’s fitness algorithms to the Moto Watch Ultra. The watch is designed to help users track areas such as stress, sleep, exercise, calorie expenditure and overall activity.
Among the Polar-powered features is Serene, which uses breathing exercises and real-time biofeedback to help users relax. Then there’s Nightly Recharge that combines sleep quality with measurements of autonomic nervous system recovery to indicate how well the body has recovered from the previous day. Sleep Plus Stages, meanwhile, tracks light, deep and REM sleep to generate a personalised sleep score.
The watch also offers several tools for people looking to stay more active, like Activity Goal which creates a daily target based on the user’s profile and selected activity level, while Activity Score measures movement and exercise intensity throughout the day. Active Intensity Zones break down activity into light, moderate and vigorous levels using heart rate and movement data.
There is also an Inactivity Alert that reminds users to move after being inactive for too long, along with Smart Calories, which estimates daily calorie expenditure using factors such as heart rate, wrist movement, weight and age. Energy Sources provides additional metabolic information by showing how the body uses different fuels, including fat, carbohydrates and protein, during workouts.
For runners and walkers, the watch includes Running Coach, which provides guided workouts and helps users with pacing. The watch can also track key vitals through its health sensors.
The watch also gets support for LTE connectivity, making the Moto Watch Ultra the first moto watch with cellular connectivity. Users can make and receive calls, send text messages and manage notifications without keeping their phone connected. Dual-Band GPS is included for more accurate navigation and location tracking, while NFC-enabled Google Pay lets users make contactless payments after adding a card through Google Wallet.
The watch runs on Wear OS by Google, giving users access to the Google Play Store and apps such as YouTube Music, Google Maps, Google Messages and Google Gemini. It is also Motorola’s first wearable with built-in Motorola Qira on compatible Motorola and Lenovo devices. Users can interact with Qira by raising their wrist or saying “Hey Qira” to ask questions or access saved information across supported devices.
Under the hood, the Moto Watch Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 Platform, which Motorola says helps the watch handle multiple tasks. The design is centred around a 1.5-inch OLED display with up to 2,700 nits of brightness and an always-on display. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The watch uses a 46mm stainless steel case and supports standard 22mm third-party bands.
For durability, the moto watch ultra carries IP68 and 5ATM protection, making it suitable for activities such as swimming, cycling in the rain and workouts where the watch may be exposed to sweat or water.
Battery life is rated at up to two days of active use with the always-on display turned off. Motorola also claims that a 15-minute charge can provide up to 24 hours of active use.
Moto Snap: Price, Specifications
Moto Snap is priced at EUR 39 (approx Rs 4,300) and will roll out to select countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia-Pacific in the coming weeks.
The Moto Snap wireless charger provides up to 25W fast wireless charging on Qi2.2 devices and is optimised for efficient, cooler charging and zero standby power consumption as per the brand. Supported Motorola devices can charge at charging speeds of up to 30W using Motorola’s own charging protocol. This accessory also comes with a durable 1.5m braided USB Type-C cable and magnetic case compatibility.
The Moto Snap wireless charger also features strong magnetic alignment for precise connection. It contains zero standby power consumption to reduce unnecessary energy usage, and overheat and overcharge protection as well. “Its premium look complements one’s nightstand, desk or carry-on bag, and it works with compatible magnetic cases.”
