Motorola Edge 70 Max India launch is now being teased by the company. The device has already surfaced in leaks so we have a good idea of what to expect from it. The Edge 70 Max is expected to be a premium mid-ranger with a high-end Snapdragon chip, triple rear cameras, and more.
Motorola Edge 70 Max India Launch: Details
The Motorola Edge 70 Max India launch is being teased via the brand’s X account with captions like, “Is your phone built for the max version of you?,” suggesting that the device will indeed be called the Edge 70 Max. The company says the device is coming soon, so one can expect a launch later this month.
A Flipkart microsite has also been created for the device, confirming exclusive availability on the e-commerce platform. The device’s teasers partly reveal the design of the handset also, showing a flat aluminium frame with Antenna lines, a square camera module with three camera cutouts and one for an LED flash, volume and power buttons on the right and an AI key on the left spine. At the bottom resides a USB-C port, SIM tray, and a speaker grill.
The device is touted to pack a Chipset with 46% improved NPU performance for AI, along with support for wireless charging also.

These are the only features that have been confirmed, but we do have a set of leaks which say that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. At the back, it will feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The handset is expected to be available in Green, Light Blue and Black colour options. The device may also debut in the global markets at the same time as India.
Searching for the device on Google shows a Flipkart listing result which also says the device gets the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and a Quad-HD+ 144Hz AMOLED Display with 7000 nits brightness. However, these could be placeholder specs and may be replaced later on.
Furthermore, the device recently got listed on Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) database, confirming support for Qi 2.2.1 standard and the MPP25 Magnetic Power Profile, which means it will likely be able to charge at 25W speeds wirelessly, along with built-in magnets.
Motorola is yet to officially confirm the launch date and pricing details. However, going by the leaked chipset and other features, we expect the device to be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 55,000. Note that these are speculative figures based on the brand’s past pricing habits.
