Minecraft is reviving lost Universal Studios rides

Universal and Minecraft are teaming up for an in-game theme park experience.

The Minecraft DLC, dubbed Universal Studios Experience, is out now. It lets you visit classic Universal rides, including some that have long left the real world. This is especially exciting for a theme park fan like me who has deeply missed Back to the Future: The Ride and Jaws.

It will also include some rides that still actually exist in the parks, like Revenge of the Mummy and Jurassic World.

Disney recently announced that it is investing in Epic Games, which will create digital experiences for the company. We’re not sure exactly what that will look like, but I would guess that digital theme parks may be a part of it.
