Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is back with friends in new collection

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics got announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, set for launch later this year.

The collection includes Marvel vs. Capcom 2, one of the most beloved 2D fighters ever. It also has X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, and even the beat-em-up The Punisher.

We’ve had compilations of Capcom fighters before, but it was always unsure if these games were possible due to the licensing hurdles.
