Leaked: Google Pixel Watch 5 Specifications, Pixel 11’s Thinner Camera Bar, Pixel Glow To be Called HiLight

A new set of leaks have emerged online, leaving little to the imagination about what’s to come from Google at its August 12 event. The new leaks reveal the detailed Google Pixel Watch 5 specifications, a new look at the Pixel 11’s thinner camera bar, along with the capabilities of the rear LED on the Pixel 11 Pro models which could be dubbed “HiLight.”

Google Pixel Watch 5 Specifications (Leaked)

As per a report by Dealabs, the Pixel Watch 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated. While the chip is the same as the Pixel Watch 4, it seems like the clock speed of the cores may have been increased, hence the use of the term “Accelerated.”

RAM will be upgrade to 3GB from 2GB in Watch 4, while storage is doubled to 64GB. The batteries in both 41mm and 45mm models have been marginally increased, with 332mAh (from 325mAh) in the 41mm variant, and 465mAh (from 455mAh) in the 45mm model. However, the advertised battery life remains identical to Pixel Watch 4: 30 hours with AOD on the 41mm variant and 40 hours on the 45mm version.

The Pixel Watch 5 also gets a new “2nd generation sport bracelet made of hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber (HNBR).” This likely an upgrade from the current Band that is of fluoroelastomer.

As expected, the watch will run on Wear OS 7.0 with Gemini Intelligence support.

Aside from this, it will get a Actua 360 display with 3,000 nits of peak brightness, Bluetooth v6.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, UWB, and 5 ATM + IP68 water/dust resistance. These are all identical to the Pixel Watch 4.

Pixel 11’s Camera Bar, HiLight Features

Google Pixel 11’s camera bar is the thinnest ever camera bar on a Pixel yet, as per the promotional images shared by @evleaks on X. Thinner camera bar means it will protrude less compared to last year’s Pixel 10 and this year’s Pixel 11 Pro models. Further, the Pixel 11 will offer up to 30 hours of battery life with 25% faster wireless charging.

The leaked image also claims 55% recharge in 5 minutes which is impossible as Google adds the speeds are “based on using the 30W USB-C charger (for the Google Pixel 11 Pro) and the 45W USB-C charger (for the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL).” For obvious reasons, the base Pixel won’t have faster charging speed than the Pro model and even at 45W, 55% charge in 5 minutes is an impossible stat to achieve.

This could very well be a mistake in the leaked material, considering X has labelled evleaks’ post as “made with AI.” Per the leak, the Pixel 11 will support 30x SuperZoom via its rear camera.

The leaker also posted photos of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s rear camera module with the new LED light which will likely be called “HiLight.” This is something believable as a few other reliable tipsters have claimed the same in the past, suggesting the previously leaked Pixel Glow naming may have been an internal name for the feature when it was in development.

The final version will be called HiLight and as per the leak, the LED will glow when your favourite contacts call you or when you are chatting with Gemini. It is unclear whether the LED will also work with use cases beyond these two, such as for new notifications.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s leaked material suggests it will have up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, an 8-inch Actual Flex display, IP68 dust and water resistance, along with over 24 hours of battery life.
