Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G has been launched in India, a month after the Virat V1 series debuted in the country. The third model in the Virat series phones from Lava has a Unisoc Processor under the hood, paired with 6GB RAM. There’s a dual rear camera setup and the device runs on Android 16.

The Virat V1 Pro 5G is available in a single 6GB + 128GB model, priced at Rs 15,999. It will be available for purchase starting August 31, 2026, at 12 noon via Flipkart, in Sikkim Midnight and Spiti Frost shades. There’s also a Rs 2,000 instant bank discount available with all bank cards.
Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G: Specifications
The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G sports a 6.75-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 260 ppi, and a waterdrop notch housing the front camera. Under the hood, the device features the Unisoc T8200 chipset and 6GB of RAM with up to 6GB of virtual RAM. There’s 128GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 1TB and the phone runs on Android 16 OS. It will get 1 Android OS update and 2 years of security updates.
For optics, you get a 50-megapixel main camera on the back paired with an auxiliary lens. You also get a 5MP selfie shooter. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via the USB-C port.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. There’s also a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a single bottom firing speaker. The device is also IP64 rated for dust and water resistance.
Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G: Should You Buy It?
The V1 Pro 5G shares most of its specifications the V1 5G, except for more RAM and storage, a better primary camera sensor on the back, and a slightly different design.
At this price, you can get the Tecno POP X 5G which packs a better chipset and a bigger battery. However, you’ll have to compromise with RAM and the rear camera sensor compared to Lava’s handset which could be a deal breaker for many.
Similar is the case with the Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G and the Redmi 15A 5G, but then these two devices may also be able to offer you a superior software as per our experience with all of these brands.
If you are unwilling to compromise in the areas mentioned above, then the Virat V1 Pro 5G is a decent pick for what’s on offer.
