Lava Virat Curve 5G has been announced in India. The Virat Curve 5G has a curved display on the front and also gets a Rear Mini Screen that allows users to check notifications, set custom texts and emojis, and glance at essential information such as the clock, battery percentage, charging status and volume.

Priced at Rs 23,999 for the sole 6GB + 128GB variant, the Virat Curve 5G be available on Flipkart starting September 28, 2026 at 7 PM. It comes in Makrana Ivory, Heritage Indigo, and Ellora Slate colours.
Lava Virat Curve 5G: Specifications
The Lava Virat Curve 5G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ resolution AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz Refresh Rate. The display comes with 1.07 billion color depth, Widevine L1, 394 ppi, 1100 nits peak brightness and supports HDR 10+. There’s also a second mini display on the back that shows battery status, volume, emojis, notifications, and more.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. For optics, the Lava Virat Curve 5G packs a single rear camera unit which gets a 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX752 sensor. For selfies, it features a 13MP sensor at the front.
It includes an in-display optical fingerprint scanner for Biometrics and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. It packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging but you get a 33W charger in the box. Lava Virat Curve 5G runs on Android 16 and will get 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.4, USB-C port, and GPS. Additional features include stereo speakers, an IR blaster, MIL-STD 810H Military Grade certification, and an IP64 rating.
Lava Virat Curve 5G: Should You Buy It?
The Lava Virat Curve 5G at Rs 23,999 seems like a great deal. Its closest competitor is the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G which offers a higher Refresh Rate panel but an LCD one, which is inferior to the AMOLED panel Lava is using. Further, it gets OS updates for 3 years and security patches for 5 years, has a better camera sensor on the back, along with a superior IP68 rating. However, all of this is packaged for Rs 24,999 and this is where the Virat Curve 5G does undercut the Infinix device.
If you want an AMOLED Display and are okay with an inferior camera and software update policy, and then you are also tight on budget, then Lava’s handset is an easy recommendation.
