Latest Realme 3 Pro update arrives with Digital Wellbeing, many other new features

The Realme 3 Pro is now receiving a new software update, version RMX1851EX_11_A.19, which brings quite a few new features that are definitely nice to have, and it also packs the September 2019 security patches. You get Google’s Digital Wellbeing suite, a manual locking feature that is invoked by long-pressing the power button, as well as the ability to manually limit the network speed of devices connected to your Wi-Fi hotspot. Additionally, you’ll have information about the amount of data consumed by connected devices, and there’s also a customized data consumed reminder.

The screen on time is now displayed in Settings, and the Clone Apps feature supports more third-party apps, such as PayTM, Google Pay, PhonePe, Amazon, and Flipkart. The launcher gets an “optimized” lock screen clock widget style, a new date and weather widget, and a better UI for the Smart Assistant.

Finally, the notification center interface has been redesigned, and you can swipe left or right to remove a message prompt after you receive it.

As usual, the update is going out in stages, so it may take a few days (or even more) for it to reach your particular Realme 3 Pro unit.
