Honor to introduce MagicBook X series on May 7

Honor has scheduled an event for tomorrow, May 7. The brand is expected to introduce a new laptop lineup, called MagicBook X, and it seems the new devices will be thinner and more compact than ever. The venue is scheduled for 14:30 Beijing time or 6:30 GMT.

The new MagicBook X could be an alternative to the MagicBook Pro – likely a device with more affordable specs while keeping the same form factor. We know practically nothing about the internals, but we can see the new MagicBook X will have two USB-A ports – one on each side. There is also a micro HDMI, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB-C for the power delivery.

The display appears to have thin bezels. This means the video camera had made its way between the F6 and F7 key, just like any other top-tier MagicBook laptop. We were impressed with the touchpad of previous Honor notebooks we reviewed, and we’re pretty confident this will be big and easy to navigate as well.
