Here’s how much the Galaxy A53 might cost in Europe when it launches

Samsung’s Galaxy A53 is getting ever closer to its official unveiling, and if tradition holds that should happen later this month – since the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G were both announced in March of last year.

While we wait, though, here’s a question for you: have you ever wondered how much the Galaxy A53 might cost when it launches? Well, today we might have an answer to that question, at least for EU markets.

Here's how much the Galaxy A53 might cost in Europe when it launches

What you see above is allegedly a listing from an Italian retailer getting ready to sell the Galaxy A53 for what is a very weird price. We assume the actual recommended retail price of the device will be €469 and this particular retailer wanted to undercut its competitors, even if just by a few euros.

Now if this holds water, it would mean a €20 price hike compared to when the Galaxy A52s 5G launched back in September for €449, in the same configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. That may be palatable, but it’s still unclear what the performance is going to be like with the much rumored Exynos 1200 chipset compared to the Snapdragon 778G in the A52s.

To recall, the Galaxy A53 is supposed to come with a 6.52-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED screen, a 64 MP main rear camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, a 5 MP depth sensor, a 5 MP macro cam, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
