Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced Gets Surprise DLSS 4 Support on PC With New Drift Week Update

Grand Theft Auto 5 players on PC just got a new update that adds DLSS 4 support, new cards for Grand Theft Auto Online, and more.

Rockstar Games detailed all of the additions for GTA 5 Enhanced owners on its website, revealing a garage filled with content for fans who play both in single-player and online. Although the vast majority of the new goodies can only be enjoyed by those playing the latest iteration of GTA’s multiplayer experience, DLSS 4 support is one change that all fans can take advantage of.

Buried toward the end of the latest GTA 5 update’s blog post is confirmation that the latest Nvidia driver update comes with DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation and DLSS frame generation for both GTA 5 Enhanced and GTA Online. Nvidia said that at 4K with max settings, DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation increases GeForce RTX 50 Series frame rates by an average of 3.9 times.

It’s a potentially significant boost to the GTA 5 experience for those with GeForce RTX 50 and 40 Series tech. Of course, you’ll need the Enhanced version of the experience that Rockstar released earlier this year to benefit from all of the upgrades, but the company reminds players using the legacy versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online that they can still upgrade to the Enhanced version for free.

GTA Online players can also now take part in a series of Drift Week-themed additions. These include Drift Tuning upgrades for four vehicles – the Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire, Annis Hardy, Vapid Dominator FX, and Dinka Chavos V6 – as well as a new, limited-time free vehicle in the form of the Declasse Drift Walton L35.

More GTA Online events are also on the way for the end of summer and during fall, including a new Survival mode, Halloween-themed activities, and a GTA$ giveaway.
