EA has edged closer to buying Codemasters after shareholders of the latter approved the takeover. Out of 76 shareholders, 63 approved EA’s $1.2 billion bid. Rare’s GoldenEye 007 for the N64 needs no introduction, and now it’s possible to revisit the game in a more modern form. This week, a ROM of a canceled 2007 Xbox 360 remaster of the game appeared online, allowing those with a PC to play it using an emulator. According to VGC (via Polygon), the leaked ROM includes the game’s entire single-player campaign, as well as its multiplayer component.

Sega has unveiled Total War: Warhammer 3 with an announcement trailer that features plenty of magic and monsters. Creative Assembly’s next entry in the real-time strategy series should arrive later this year on Steam and the Epic Game Store. “Embarking on a new grand campaign, you will be tasked with saving or exploiting the power of a dying god,” Sega wrote in its announcement.
