First Look at Pokémon TCG’s Delta Reign ETB Has Everyone Saying the Same Thing

Delta Reign is the sixth set in the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution line, set to be released on November 6, 2026. This expansion marks the return of Mega Rayquaza for the first time since XY—Ancient Origins and XY—Roaring Skies expansions were released in 2015.

I, personally, can’t wait for this one. In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful ETBs put out for a long time, and I’m not the only one who thinks it! I love its deep blue colour, the sparkling details which look like a starry sky, and its eye-catching emerald green, along with an excellent cutout of Rayquaza. Just have a look at it yourself!

Pre-release events will run from October 24th to November 1st. Considering the timing of the two previous sets, we can expect preorders for Delta Reign, likely in the first or second week of September.

If you want to stand a chance of adding this ETB to your collection, make sure to keep an eye on the official Pokémon Center website and turn alerts on for IGNFinds on X/Twitter, since supplies for highly demanded sets can sell out very quickly. Good luck in your matches against the bots!

Plus, if you’re serious about only paying MSRP and nothing else, I suggest following any of the following on X/Twitter. All of these accounts are fairly on it, and tend to post stuff as soon as it becomes available. Stick notifications on, and you’re well away.

According to Pokébeach, the Elite Trainer Box for this set will include the Kyogre Illustration Rare, which came from Storm Emeralda and will be removed from the set to be turned into an ETB promo.

But that’s not all from Delta Reign! We’ve also got our first look at the Booster Pack artworks by Delta Reign, including cutouts of the other three Mega Evolution ex cards in the set – Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex and my friend Mega Malamar ex.

Delta Reign features over 135 cards, which includes four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Six Pokémon ex, 14 illustration rare Pokémon and 17 Ultra Rare Pokémon and Trainer cards. I dread to think how much a Mega Ultra Rare Mega Rayquaza ex is going to fetch on secondary markets.

This is also a very exciting time to be a fan of the actual game – Delta Reign is the first to introduce the series’ split Legendary Stadium cards, namely Legendary Ocean Trench, Legendary Summit, and Legendary Lava Lake, for a total of six new cards. Legendary Stadium cards are made by combining two Stadium cards that are played together and produce an extended artwork when placed side by side. These cards will join forces to deliver powerful passive effects to the field, which will be interesting to see how it shakes up the meta.

Pokémon TCG fans can get Mega Evolution—Delta Reign in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and various collections at participating retailers around the world. Although there is currently no information on when preorders will begin, we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as there’s an update on this.

In other news, The Pokémon Company is cancelling orders of Pokémon Cards following a “cyber incident” that potentially left customer details exposed.

That’s according to emails shared online by fans impacted by the incident, who previously pre-ordered Pokémon trading cards purchased via the Pokémon Center website.

The breach appears to be isolated to European orders, which the Pokémon Company planned to fulfil using local logistics firm CEVA. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because this is the same firm that Valve recently warned customers had been hit by data theft, similarly impacting those who had recently bought Steam hardware.
