Apple released iOS 15.4 beta in January, and after yesterday’s “Peek Performance” event, the company announced it will release the iOS 15.4’s stable build for compatible devices next week.
One of the biggest highlights of iOS 15.4 is it lets you unlock your iPhone with Face ID even when you are wearing a mask, meaning you’ll no longer need an Apple Watch to unlock your iPhone without a passcode if you are wearing a mask.
While iOS 15.4’s stable build will only arrive next week, Apple has already seeded its release candidate, which will be available to you if you are enrolled in Apple’s Developer Program.
In addition to iOS 15.4, Apple will also release macOS Monterey 12.3, watchOS 8.5, tvOS 15.4, and iPadOS 15.4 next week, with the release candidate of iPadOS 15.4 already available for developers.
