How to stream the iPhone 13 event

It’s easier than ever to stream today’s iPhone 13 event, which is completely virtual amid the COVID-19 pandemic. You can stream the event through Apple’s website, Apple’s YouTube channel, and through the Apple TV application on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Apple Event expectations

To recap, at today’s Apple Event we expect the company to officially introduce the iPhone 13, the Apple Watch Series 7, AirPods 3, and much more.

The Apple Watch Series 7 and iPhone 13 will be notable updates. The former is expected to add an all-new design with larger displays and new watch faces. The latter is expected to bring new camera features, a smaller notch, ProMotion display technology, and much more.

  • New iPad mini features USB-C connectivity
  • Volume buttons are on the top, alongside Touch ID in the power button
  • iPad mini is 40x caster in CPU performance, 80% boost in GPU
  • 8.3-inch display in the same physical foot print: 500 nits brights, wide color, True Tone, antireflective coating
  • New iPad mini features a complete redesign with an edge-to-edge display with narrow bezels: purple, pink, starlight, and space gray colors.
  • Now we’re moving on to iPad mini…the biggest update ever fro the iPad mini
  • Same price as before at $329, but storage now starts at 64GB instead of 32GB: Order today and available “next week”
  • Entry-level iPad also adding True Tone display technology for adjusting the display’s color temperature based on the room you’re in
  • Better selfies and improved front camera with a more powerful image sensor: 12MP Ultra Wide camera, 120-degree field of view, support for Center Stage
  • This may seem like a mediocre update, but the A13 Bionic chip is a notable upgrade as the device remains a strong seller for Apple.
  • Starting with the entry-level iPad, which gets a spec bump to the A13 Bionic chip and the same design as its predecessor
  • Now we’re onto the product announcements: starting with iPad
  • Tim Cook now on stage to talk about TV+: 130+ award wins, 500+ nominations, 35 primetime Emmy nominations
