65″ rollable TV LG Signature OLED R is now available for $87,000

First showcased back in 2018, LG’s rollable OLED TV missed its targeted 2019 launch, but starting today units are available in several major retail stores in South Korea for people to gawk at. You could even buy one, though only if you have KRW 100,000,000 – that’s around $87,000 or €74,000.

LG Signature OLED R, the 65

The LG Signature OLED R is unique in that the 65” OLED display can roll up and completely disappear into its aluminum base. This actually allows it to operate with several different screen sizes: full view gives you all 65 inches, Line view exposes just the top part of the screen and Zero view keeps the screen completely hidden.

This is so you can use the powerful sound system with 4.2 channel speakers totaling 100W output power. You can connect to it as a Bluetooth speaker and Zero view mode avoids running the OLED unnecessarily. Line mode enables 5 views: Music, Clock, Frame, Mood and Home Dashboard.
