ZTE brings Axon 20 to 4G markets with Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset

The ZTE Axon 20 4G will keep its overall footprint, as well as its key selling feature – the UD selfie camera. There are no changes to the exterior or the camera configuration.

In terms of raw power the Unisoc platform is somewhat different to the Snapdragon 765G. Tiger T618 has an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 units at the same clock speed. That compares to the 2.4GHz and 2.2GHz for the couple of Cortex-A75 cores on the Snapdragon 765G and 1.8GHz for the six Cortex-A55s.

Pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.
