Nubia just teased its upcoming Z40 Pro flagship phone on Weibo saying that it’s going to be the first phone with a custom 35mm lens paired with Sony’s IMX787 sensor. We haven’t seen 35mm lenses for main cameras in a while so this sounds rather interesting.

In addition, the teaser confirms a large f/1.6 aperture, OIS and what appears to be omni-directional autofocus. Don’t quote us on that one, though, as the machine-translated text is rough around the edges.

The teaser then goes on about an aerospace-grade heat dissipation system using new materials that should keep the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 cool enough.
