ZTE nubia Z40 Pro camera specs revealed, samples surface

The nubia Z40 Pro is launching later this month on February 25 and we have more teasers about the device’s camera setup. nubia shared several photos taken with the device on its Weibo profile including two monochrome shots, a pair of action stills and night sky scenery. Nubia also confirmed the Z40 Pro will feature Neovision 11 which is the maker’s own foray into the world of computational photography. Two Weibo leaksters also provided more details on the cameras setup of the Z40 Pro. We get a clear look at the three back modules and actual details on the sensors showing out a 14-125mm focal range.

We already know nubia will bring a Sony IMX 787 sensor paired with a 35mm lens which is claimed to reduce image distortion, more light, and improve picture clarity. Now we get more details on the actual sensors – a 64MP main IMX 787, a 50MP ultrawide snapper and an 8MP telephoto module said to offer up to 5x optical zoom.
