Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro+ 5G and Watch 2 Lite launched in India

Xiaomi India capped off its first in-person event in over two years by announcing the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Watch 2 Lite for the Indian market. The Note 11 Pro+ 5G features identical specs to the global Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G while the Note 11 Pro is the same device that launched globally back in January.

Both new Redmi Notes come with 6.67-inch AMOLED panels of FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rates as well as punch hole cutout for their 16MP selfie cams. The pair also share their 108MP main cameras on the back as well as the auxiliary 8MP ultrawide snappers, 2MP macro helpers and 2 MP depth modules.

The main difference comes down to the chipset department where the Note 11 Pro+ 5G brings a 5G capable Snapdragon 695 while the Note 11 Pro gets MediaTek’s Helio G96. Both phones boot MIUI 13 based on Android 11.

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G comes in Stealth Black, Phantom White and Mirage Blue colors. The baseline 6/128GB trim starts at INR 20,999 ($273) while the top end 8/256GB model will go for INR 24,999 ($325). First sales are scheduled for March 15 via Xiaomi’s online and offline platforms as well as Amazon India and partnering retailers.

Redmi Note 11 Pro comes in Stealth Black, Phantom White and Star Blue colors. It starts at INR 17,999($234) for the 6/128GB. There’s also a 8/128GB model for INR 19,999 ($260) First sales start on March 23.

Alongside the two phones, Xiaomi also brought over the Redmi Watch 2 Lite which starts at INR 4,999 ($65). First sales for the wearable begin on March 15.
