The Redmi K50 series arrived in March with Mediatek chipsets in vanilla and Pro versions. The Ultra eventually followed in August with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and reports are the incoming Redmi K60 series will have a phone with the 2021 flagship platform by Qualcomm.
According to , the series is already in the design verification testing phase, and once the internal design is confirmed to be safe, manufacturing will follow.
